Thanks for your comments, Jane. EVERYBODY must check out bonamassabluesrock.com. Joe Bonamassa is possibly the most talented guitar player out there. He's my favorite living guitarist on the planet. The guy just smokes!!

Glad you like this website. If anyone has any suggestion on how to make it BETTER, please leave your constructive comments here. Probably better than sending me email, as I have to jump through hoops to check my email with this hosting service!!

Tom, the dual tone control diagram is indeed 2 tone controls in one. The difference is the stereo "balance control" potentiometer. When in the center, neither tone circuits are active and your guitar's tone would be unaltered. If you used an ordinary tone control, the center (5) would be approximately half way between full-on and full-off and the tone circuits would be changing your guitar's tone.
Yes, you can substitute a push/pull for the blend control. You could even substitute a mini-switch. The blend control has the advantage of having more adjustable effect on the guitar's tone, but I think a switch gives nice results, too.

Hey, just a couple of questions...
in the tone section, does the diagram for a stereo balance type tone control work as two individual tone controls, wired that way? can i add a capacitor and rewire my existing tone controls to achieve the same effect?
also... on the mega strat diagram, can a push/pull switch be used in the place of the blend pot?
Cheers, Tom

Hi! I like the tournaments on Texas Holdem Table. Plenty of players and a great opportunity to win big with small stakes. I placed 18th in my first tournament there and won over 200
Been close a couple of times since but fell short. I'm not a great NL tourney player, (yet)!
